I really enjoy this app! No adverts. No shenanigans. No "friends" only family as *I* define family. I had a cousin in Australia, now moving back to the UK, niece in Texas, niece in North Dakota, and other family throughout the upper Midwest of USA and get notifications in my pocket when they have news, pictures of babies, or something to share. AND NO GAME "INVITATIONS" which means that when Im notified its really, truly my family. YAY! Togethera. Thank you!

This is a great app that I use with family and friends to communicate real time as well photo and video memories -- it can be private to your settings and super easy to use.

With this update Togethera now handles everything we need a family sharing app for. Weve always liked the simplicity and content focus, and the clever way of indicating updates. Its much more of a iOS7 app than a lot of the competition--and we have used all the competing apps. The only difficulty weve had is with deleting unwanted users, and we have gotten impressive customer service with that issue. There are limits to video which wed like to see raised but if a 30 second limit is necessary for reliable service thats a tradeoff we are willing to deal with. Multiple families, video, platform support, customer support--Togethera has it all now and while its not perfect we have to give it 5 stars for being a complete solution for families who want a private social network.

This is such a great app for sharing things among our family. Its easy to use and I love it!

The best feature I like is that you can create multiple family groups (my husbands and mine). Our families are spread out in three states and this is great for keeping everyone up to date.

There was only one main thing I was missing from Togethera and that was the ability to upload my photos in high resolution. This version finally delivers! The Watch app looks really cool too - cant wait to have my watch delivered and try it out!

Really disappointed! Created an Album, some pictures cant be loaded! Makes the album incomplete! No section to leave comments (for the creator or the participant parties) for each picture or any kind of caption. Will delete the app even though the offered me a 30 day trial on the premium package! Really dont see a difference to the other package...

Super easy to use, simple interface, grandparents love it, best way to share pics privately without posting to the whole world! And I love its just my close friends and fam--who actually want to see daily pics of my kid!

Our family loves it. It has replaced group texts, Facebook, emails, etc. as our go to means of family communication. When coordinating get togethers, or just sharing moments. The app is well designed and a pleasure to use.

What an amazing concept and a simple and user friendly design! Have been using this app for a couple of weeks and its becoming my go to app to connect and share with friends and, most importantly, family! The best feature, besides the brilliant simplicity, is the solid perspective on privacy. Privacy is becoming a fading notion in the modern world of sharing on social media. Togethera has restored my confidence in being able to connect and share, in an intimate and special way. It is simply refreshing to know that what you share with the most important people in your life, will stay private and special, just the way it is intended to be. Thanks for creating this app! :)

I love Togethera!! Its basically like Instagram but more private.

I’m very interested to read the reviews stating how helpful this app is and how easy it is to use. If those are actual users then bully for them. I tried to set this up an a 3rd gen iPad mini and it hung at every turn of the setup, unable to get past choosing five photos to share without freezing outright…something I’ve never even seen in iOS. Setup on an iPhone 6 plus was a similar waste of time, with the app crashing on launch after reinstallation. I decided to leave the watch alone. iOS 8.3.

I left Facebook a few years ago, Path shortly after it was sold, Instagram after it was acquired by Facebook, but am still active - though less personal - on Twitter. The privacy factor is fantastic and Im happy to pay for a service that will not sell information for ads or additional revenue. Togethera fills a great void that these other services leave in that my family and I are able to share thoughts, videos, and photos with family who dont live near by - especially useful with grandparents. The only reason I rated it 4 instead of 5 is because Id like to see the ability to share Location, Movies were watching, and Music were listening to (ala Path). The price point is fantastic as is the customer support. I also love the app and the web application so it can be used wherever we are be it at work, at home, or on the go. Highly recommended.

Ive been looking for an alternative to Facebook for sharing photos and info with my family and this app shows promise. Im very happy with the way it works so far. I really like how it posts updates in the time line and lets me know to scroll up or down to view them. I also appreciate the watch support. Another thing you all got right is the "no wrong door" approach to signing up members. I signed up my family with both texts and emails. Id like to be able to add pictures to other members posts (at least I think I want to.) Also agree with the other reviewer who said an easy way to download would be appreciated. Havent tried the Dropbox connection but that may be an interesting route to share the actual files. Anyhow, thanks for the app...my family is already very much enjoying it! I am excited to see where you take it.

This is a nice app for keeping families up to date with each other. Its nice to see early support of the Apple Watch too. A few thoughts: 1) if families are really going to invest in an app like this, we need a way to export all data. Exporting pictures is a good start but need comments and conversation as well. It would act like a family journal. 2) its be nice to be able to upgrade a board instead of just one member of the board. That way, all family members could upload videos to the same board. Thanks for the good app.

I was so excited to have something like this just for my family and have used it for about a year. Unfortunately a few basics are still missing such as deleting my own post!? The videos often will not play properly including no audio at times. These things have not been fixed through the updates in a year, which is the reason for my rating. This could be such a great app if they would just maintain the basics.

My family is really close but we all live really far away from each other now! This app has been the perfect way to stay close. More private than Facebook and yet easier than a group text and more fun! It has been a lifesaver! Thanks so much Togethera!

My family is addicted to this app. A few minor upgrades like managing content and video posting would be great. Plus if you need me to pay for the I handed version...do it up front. My family group would upgrade in a second. Great app.

This is a wonderful app for families. It is simple. And that means people use it. It would be nice to have a few additional features, but it works right now and my family has not communicated this much in years. If you are looking for something extremely easy for your 80 year old, tech challenged, iPhone carrying grand parents to use then you have come to the right app.
